Summer Luvin'!

If you're looking for something to occupy your month long holiday here's a DIY project for you to embark on. Grab a bunch of fabrics and sew something up for the beach or just a day out or even a chill-out picnic.

Make your own nautical inspired sunny sacks (I love the one above!) and pretty picnic mats or even cute printed totes that you can carry out for a nice shopping trip. Learn how to over here.

Seems like everyone is up and about for the summer, just as we are all in sunny Singapore, except that it's 24/7! Having an intense love-hate relationship with the sun but as it is, I wouldn't mind a little snow right now.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

The Teal Cat Project: Make your own shoes!

Check out Alexa Chung in these cute little shoes!

I love cats, and absolutely want to lay my hands on a pair Charlotte Olympias but don't think I can afford it now. Would be a real looker though! These flats are priced at a whopping US$935 if I'm not wrong.

But yay for make-your-own-kitty-shoes! You can now learn to make your own in this simple tutorial posted up by The Teal Cat Project. Click here to find out how!

Besides the point, The Teal Cat Project is set up to help save kittens by raising funds for cat rescue groups through creativity. It's a really great effort to help make sure that cats on the streets are safe. You can even adopt your own teal cat to help save more kitties, just right here!
